Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Saturday Winter Hours (January to April) 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The Transfer Station will be closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Who Can Use It:
The Milford Transfer Station is available for use by all City of Milford residents and contractors or businesses generating solid waste within Milford.

Fees:
No fee for cars or SUVs.
All trucks, work vans, and any vehicle hauling a trailer must report to scale.
$0.075 per pound

Items Accepted:
General household waste
Recyclables (i.e., cardboard, bottles/cans/glass)
Furniture
Lumber – all lumber must be cut into 4-foot lengths
TV’s and electronics
Refrigerators, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers
Tires
Mattresses
Metal
Brush, leaves, and grass clippings
Motor oil not mixed with any other fluid (before dropping off, please report to scalehouse)
Antifreeze
