The federal CARES Act provides for the public a reasonable opportunity to comment during a time of national crisis or emergency and some short-term flexibilities to Grantees of the CDBG program in order to administer and implement funds in the Milford community expadisoucly. The City of Milford approved an amendment to the FY2019 Annual Action Pland and the Citizen Participation Plan to incorporate these flexibilities. Non-profit, municipal and for-profit agencies and businesses with eligible programs and expenses are invited to contact the Department for more information. The City of Milford will receive from HUD $303,209 CDBG-CV funds for the purpose of preventing, preparing for, and responding to the Coronavirus public health and economic crisis. Through a substantial amendment to the PY45 Annual Action Plan the City will allocate the funds toward the cost of services as described in the attached update Federal Registration .
