Milford allocated its CDBG-CV, CARES Act funds to non-profits and service providers serving Milford. HUD awarded Milford with two CDBG-CV CARES Act awards totaling $606,952. The City accepted the grants through a substantial amendment in July 2020 and September 2021 for the purpose of preventing, preparing for, and responding to the Coronavirus public health and economic crisis. The ECD office expects to spend 100% of the grant total by or before the July 2026 deadline revised March 2023 by HUD through the CARES Act Congressional Act.
Rent, Mortgage & Utility Assistance Program, CDBG & CDBG-CV (CARES Act) funds are expended in full. No Additional funds will be allocated. The Milford Department of Human Services offers assistance to resident in need. 203-783-3253
