November News at the Library!

Our new (temporary) Children's Room is set up and ready for you to visit! We have lots of great books, movies and games for you to check out and enjoy - or stay and play at our ipad or lego tables.  We have missed seeing our story time friends so are happy to announce that we will be hosting Storytime Junior!, a mini-program of cozy stories and songs, held in our temporary Children's space (the former adult Program Room). Storytime Junior!  begins on November 7 and will be held every Thursday at 10:30am.  The program is suitable for children aged 5 and under, with a caregiver.

Our Adult programs are also up and running!  Some will be held in different locations at the Library, while others will be held at other City locations. Our ever popular Genealogy program returns on November 4 and we have a special Sunday music event, The Elderly Brothers, on November 10. The Elderly Brothers will be rockin' the main floor of the library with a '50s and 60s bandstand sound!  

We are pleased to announce that our library consortium, Bibliomation, has released a new app to access our catalog! The Acorn Catalog app lets you search for items in any Bibliomation library, view your account, place holds and renew your items.  The  developer is still working on upgrades and additional features, so let us know what you think!
