Strategic Plan 2018

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES....

The Milford Public Library is embarking on a strategic planning process to guide our services for the next 3 years. This plan will act as a road map for the library as it seeks to meet the needs of Milford residents now and into the future.  We have hired the firm Maxine Bleiweis & Associates to help guide us through the process, facilitate advisory and focus groups and assist with the development of the final product. Maxine is the former Director of the Westport Library, and has been internationally recognized for her innovative approach to library services.  We are very excited to have her on board and eager to hear the thoughts of our community in regards to current and potential services.

One of our first steps is hearing from you! The thoughts and preferences of the Milford community are central to shaping the future of our community’s Library. We ask for your support and participation in a community survey (link below). This survey will aid the Strategic Planning Advisory Council’s efforts to structure the library’s priorities for the next three years.

The survey takes between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.

We value your perspective and hope that you will make an effort to answer every question to the best of your ability. All responses will be kept anonymous.

Please respond online by February 1, 2018 so that your feedback can be included in the community needs assessment presented to the Strategic Planning Advisory Council.

If you have any questions about the survey or the Strategic Planning process, please feel free to contact library planning consultant Maxine Bleiweis at maxine@maxinebleiweis.com.
