The Milford Public Library offers passes to a wide variety of local museums. These passes allow free or discounted admission depending on the museum. Prices and hours are set by the museum and are subject to change; there may be restrictions on special events. Please check the museum's website for current information. Passes may be checked out by any CT resident over the age of 18 with a valid card from their hometown library. Please note that to use our online reservation system, that card must be registered with the Milford Public Library or other library in the Bibliomation consortium. And please don't forget - many of our local museums, theaters, music venues and galleries are in financial trouble due to the pandemic. Please support the arts in any way you can.
Pass Guidelines: The library circulates two types of passes: physical passes, which may be reserved online, but must be checked out and returned to the library; and printable passes, which can be reserved and printed at home. Library staff can assist with reservations and printing. Adult users may reserve 1 pass per day. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance. Reservations are made for the date of visit to the museum. Patrons may pick up the physical pass after 10:00am on the library business day prior to the visit (after 1:00pm on Fridays). Pass must be returned the day of visit (passes can be returned in the library book return). Physical passes MUST be returned to the Milford Public Library. NOTE: Holiday weekend schedules may impact availability to pick up passes. Please check with library staff.* Some passes may be printed at home; this option is set by individual museums. To use the pass at the museum a valid photo ID may be required; the name on the printed pass must match the identification shown. Some venues will accept mobile versions of the pass, please check with museum. Pass is good only for reservation date specified on the printed pass. This icon denotes a printable pass: Reservation confirmation and reminders are sent via email / text only. There is a $5.00 per day overdue fine when a physical pass is not returned by the due date. An overdue pass may result in a block on your record to reserve future passes. Not returning a pass on time impacts the next reservation. All efforts will be made to contact you if your reserved pass has not been returned on time by the previous user. However, the Library cannot take responsibility for physical passes that are returned late. If a user fails to pick up their reserved physical passes twice in a 30 day period, they will be blocked from further reservations for 90 days. Users will be charged the full replacement cost in the case of a lost physical pass.

State Parks & Forests		State of CT	Waives entrance fees for the center or historic building for 2 adults and 4 children.This pass covers entrance fees to the centers and historic buildings at Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam, and Fort Trumbull State Park and Visitor Center in New London.
Wadsworth Atheneum Museum		Hartford, CT	Free general museum admission for 2 adults (age 18+). Free for ages 17 and younger. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE FILM ADMISSION. Not valid for ticketed programs, group tours or with other discounts. Additional fees may apply during Fine Art & Flowers and Festival of Trees & Traditions, and some special exhibitions.

TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE EverWonder Children's Museum		Newtown, CT	50% off regular priced admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children. Children under age 1 are admitted free (without pass).
Mark Twain House and Museum		Hartford, CT	Good for 1 complimentary adult admission with the purchase of 1 adult admission - OR - 2 complimentary child admissions with the purchase of 1 adult admission, but not a combination of the two.
New England Air Museum		Windsor Locks, CT	50% off regular admission for pass holder and up to 5 people. Ages 3 and under admitted free.
Shore Line Trolley Museum		East Haven, CT	50% off, up to 6 visitors
Stepping Stones Museum for Children		Norwalk, CT	This pass entitles holder to one free admission with each purchase of one admission at regular price. Children under age 1 are free. Please check museum website for up to date changes and restrictions.
