February News at the Library!
February may be a short month, but we have lots planned at the library! On February 10 we welcome actor and playwright Prudence Wright Holmes for a powerful performance of "Hiding Anne Frank". Holmes stars as Miep Gies, the woman who helped the Frank family and saved Anne Frank's diary. For adults we also have a tutorial on how to use the design tool Canva, a program on healthy aging, and more! For all ages, we are highlighting Black History month with themed movies, book discussions, and craft programs. This month we also debuted our new "Library of Things" collection! The library has more than just books and movies - with your library card you can now check out guitars, soldering irons, Spheros, American Girl Dolls, art prints, voltage meters and more!
