Milford Public Library 2020 November Program Calendar

November News at the Library!

November is a time of giving thanks and appreciation. This November, the Library staff would like to thank and express our appreciation to YOU, our wonderful patrons. Thank you to everyone who has returned to the Library, for your patience with our new procedures and hours, for diligently wearing masks and practicing social distancing, and for visiting with us through our Zoom programs. Be assured, we are constantly looking at how we can increase our services, while keeping safety protocols in place.

As usual, we have a full calendar of events planned for November - including  book discussion groups, storytimes, and special programs on astronomy, owls and the Golden Age of Radio!

We are also continuing our One City One Story programming through November. One City, One Story invites residents of all ages to read books sharing a common theme, encouraging dialogue and helping build a greater sense of community.  This year's selections are in response to the ongoing strife in our country concerning discrimination and racial injustice. One City One Story programs in November include Zoom programs on Inclusive Homeschooling, How to be a Civic Ally (teens), and Feminism in Western History. Visit the One City One Story webpage to view the selected titles.  Copies are available at the Library as well as in eBook format via Overdrive.
