View and Pay Tax Bills
Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of online payments for taxes or fees. In cooperation with the City of Milford, Point and Pay, offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to pay taxes or fees over the internet. This service is safe, reliable and in accordance with all state and government regulations. In order to process your payment, Point and Pay, the service provider, charges a nominal convenience fee in accordance with Connecticut General Statute Section 12-141a.
For immediate clearance, please pay your balance in full by cash, certified bank check or money order at the Tax Collector's Office.
Collection Agency Notice: If your account is with a collection agency, you must pay through that agency. Please allow additional time to clear from time of payment. Estimated a minimum of 10-12 business days.
Advance Payment Notice/Additional Bill Information: If you are paying your bill in advance of the due date, the add to cart button may not be available on the displayed results. Find the current assessment year line item and select the "view" button, which looks like a magnifying glass icon to open the bill and make advance payment. This view will also let you see additional billing information such as assessed value, benefits, exemptions, due dates, etc.
Convenience/Service fees charged to you for online payments:
- Credit Card: 2.5% of the transaction amount, minimum $2.00 (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit Card: $3.95/transaction, flat fee (Visa/MasterCard)
- Electronic Check: $2.00 fee for transaction up to $10,000.00, $10.00 fee for transaction above $10,000.00
A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned electronic or physical check transaction.
If a bill is BLOCKED online, please call the office at 203-783-3217 for more information. A common reason is that back taxes may also be owed.
