Chiefs of Police

Since it's creation in 1915, the Milford Police Department has had nine Chiefs of Police.  

Their names and years of service, as Chief, are as follows:

Arthur Harris 1948 - 1964

Charles Polizzi 1964 - 1968

Robert Dixon 1968 - 1971

Charles McAfee 1971 - 1972

William W. Bull 1972 - 1985

Thomas E. Flaherty 1985 - 2003

Keith L. Mello 2004-Present
