How Do I Pay Or Contest A Parking Ticket?

If you receive a City of Milford parking ticket you can pay for it in person, online, or by mail.

Please note that:

  1. Failure to pay will result in late fees.

  2. The Traffic Division must receive your ticket payment within 9 days of issuance to avoid late fees.

  3. No vehicle may be parked or left disabled within any snow alert area or snow emergency area so designated and announced by commercial broadcast and press release.

To Pay in Person:

Bring the parking ticket to Police HQ with payment in the form of cash, check, or money order. NO Credit or Debit cards accepted.

To Pay Online:

Visit www.milfordct.rmcpay.com  Have your ticket number, license plate number or your VIN number ready to locate your ticket. *

*If your parking ticket is ORANGE. Please allow up to 5 business days for your ticket to be accessible online.

To Pay by Mail:

Do not mail cash, remit by check or money order. 

To assure credit for payment, note registration # or ticket # on your check’s memo line. Payment must be postmarked within (5) days of issuance (15 days with regard to snow alert and snow emergency zone violations).

If you believe a parking ticket was issued in error you can contest the ticket by submitting a completed "Parking Ticket Appeal Form" via one of the following methods:

  1. Email it to Traffic@Milfordct.gov (click here)
  2. Mailing it to: Milford Police Department c/o Traffic Division, 430 Boston Post Rd Milford, CT 06460
  3. Dropping it off in person at Police HQ (Pandemic protocol must be followed-wear a mask)
