April News at the Library!
We are welcoming Spring with a calendar full of programs! We continue with our popular online author talks, with discussions this month by William Kent Krueger and Kate Beaton. This series, funded by our Friends of the Library, brings well known authors and speakers to your own device! These talks can be watched live, or you can view archived talks at your leisure. This series is new for us this year - let us know what you think! We have also started up our weekly Tuesday Movie Matinee program, where we show new and/or timely movies in our large Program Room. This program is for adults, but don't worry - we have many programs this month for our younger patrons. Storytimes, painting classes, writing workshops, ukelele instruction and more! Check out our new online program calendar at https://milford-pl.libcal.com; paper calendars can be printed using the link below, and are available at all library service desks. As the weather warms, be sure to take advantage of our free and reduced admission passes to area attractions. Passes can be reserved ahead of time; most you can print at home or download to a mobile device before visiting the venue. Information can be found on our website, milfordlibrary.org.
I know it has been difficult accessing library materials with our elevator non-operational. THANK YOU for your continued patience! The elevator is being replaced and I will share the timeline with you once it is confirmed. Please contact us if you need assistance; staff are happy to make accommodations in services, bring materials to the lower level, etc. Please stick with us.
