Milford Public Library 2022 March Program Calendar

March News at the Library!

As the weather gets warmer and COVID restrictions ease, it's a great time to visit the wonderful cultural attractions that Connecticut has to offer! The library has free and/or reduced admission passes to many attractions such as the Beardsley Zoo, the New Britain Museum of American Art, the New England Air Museum, and many more!  Visit our Passes to Cultural Attractions webpage to learn how you can reserve your pass.  This service is provided to the community with support from the Friends of the Milford Library.

Last month I mentioned our new streaming video service, Kanopy,  and we have seen many users signing up to view popular movies, tv shows and Great Courses content.  All you need is a valid library card to get started!

We are offering A LOT of programs this month! Adult programs include discussions on American Gilded Age heiresses invading the British Aristocracy, American blues music, buying your first home, retirement planning and more! Our teens will learn how to make muffin tin pizzas and stretch their writing skills in our teen writing group, Spill Some Ink, and our youngest users are returning to the library for in-person storytimes! Information on all programs can be found on our monthly newsletter or website

We still have some N95 masks for distribution.  Stop by any of our service desks to pick some up. While supplies last.

And, as I mention every month - a HUGE thank you to our Friends of the Milford Library for funding and supporting our programs. Would you like to get more involved with the Friends? They are looking to fill a few volunteer positions,  or simply become a member!   Information on our Friends of the Library is on the library website: milfordlibrary.org.

Best,
