Milford Public Library 2021 September Program Calendar

September News at the Library!

Our adult programs are going global!  Travel with us via Zoom and visit the Patagonia region of Chile, the wild country of Northern Canada, and the world of 19th century French Impresssionism.

Tired of Zoom and want to come visit? Storytimes for children 5 and under (with a caregiver) will take place, IN-PERSON,  under the Fowler Pavilion beginning September 7! Please register with the Children's Department so we can be sure to maintain social distancing!  Also in person will be a visit from the Career Coach.  Representatives from Career Resources, Inc. and the American Job Center will be here to help with resume building, job search assistance, and more! Look for the large bus in our parking lot and stop in.

All program information is listed in the September Library Calendar and on our website. Be sure to take a look!

A new resource for our young readers is our new Wonderbook and Playaway Collections! Wonderbooks are actual print books with an audio recording attached so you can practice reading while hearing the book read aloud.  Playaways are pre-loaded portable audiobooks - perfect for on the go listening. Visit our beautiful new Children's Department and take a look!

As always, a HUGE thank you to our Friends of the Milford Library for funding and supporting these programs. Information on our Friends of the Library, including how to become a member, is on the library website: milfordlibrary.org.

Please remember that masks and social distancing are required in ALL city buildings, including the library, regardless of vaccination status.  We appreciate your adherence and look forward to the day we can see your wonderful faces!

Best,

Chris Angeli
