June News at the Library!
Curbside pickup of library materials has started! Staff have been thrilled to see so many of our regular users picking up your books - with masks and social distancing of course! Place items on reserve through our online catalog (or via telephone or email request) and we will call you when they are ready to pick-up. Easy! Currently, you will be limited to five items at a time and as our library delivery system is not yet operational, only items at the Milford Library will be available. If you need help navigating the process, attend our Zoom session on June 8 at 3:00pm to learn the ins and outs of searching for and placing holds on library materials.
Our monthly calendar is back to being filled with LOTS of great progams for adults, teens and children. We have special summer reading programs for ALL ages, preschool through adult. Check out our calendar for the full schedule of events.
If you need a library card to access our collection of ebooks, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines, or to place reserves on physical material, Milford residents can register for our Digital Access card. Contact the library at 203-783-3290, or go to our catalog and click on the Get a Library Card link to start the process (Note: This link may not be available on your mobile device). If you had a card but it has expired, please call 203-783-3290 and staff will renew it for you.
Our Friends of the Library miss you! If you would like to help support all the great work they do at the Library, please designate the Friends of the Milford Public Library as your charity of choice when shopping on Amazon. By signing into smile.amazon.com, Amazon will donate 0.5% of every eligible purchase to the charity of your choice. Your support and generosity are welcomed and help support all the programs and extra services provided by the Library. Thank you!
Detailed information on all our programs can be found on our website, milfordlibrary.org.
