Summer reading is not just for kids! The library has summer reading programs for children, teens AND adults! Join us as we celebrate this year's theme, A Universe of Stories, with programs on astronomy, drama, movies, book groups and more! Summer reading programs kick off in June and continue through August, so stop by the library to register! If you're looking for great books to read and discuss this summer, check out our three adult book groups. We host groups for fans of classic literature, popular fiction and romance titles. All meet once a month and books can be picked up at the Reference Department. If you plan on traveling this summer, make an appointment with our Passport Office to be sure your documents are up to date. Appointments can be made for Tuesday evenings and Saturday by calling 203-783-3309.
Summer is a wonderful time to enjoy all the amenities Milford has to offer. We may be biased, but it is definitely THE place to be in Connecticut! If you are looking to get more involved with your community, want to support your library, or simply meet a great group of local people - join the Friends of the Library today!
Information on the Friends of the Library, plus an online application to join, can be found here: Friends of the Milford Library
