Milford Public Library 2017 October Program Calendar

The Library is THE place to be this month! (well, actually it is EVERY month...) We have more programs in October than can be listed here - Relevant and timely programs such as presentations on fake news, political cartoons, online password protection, ISIS vs Islam, tinkercad and more! We will also be recognizing the Fall season with a program on the witch trials in the CT Colony, and seasonal arts and crafts. And don't forget to support the Friends of the Library and buy your tickets to Party in the Stacks! This now annual event is not to be missed!

Party in the Stacks! 2017

Get your tickets TODAY for the now annual, Party in the Stacks! If you think libraries are stuffy and quiet - think again! This year, the library will be transformed into an Enchanted Forest, with decor and festivities that will delight!  Radio personality Brian Smith will act as emcee for the evening, which features a custom designed puzzle treasure hunt by Milford resident Eric Berlin, author of the Winston Breen mystery series and NYT crossword contributor.  We will also have music, dancing, wonderful hors d'oeuvres by Christopher Martins' restaurant, a photo booth and silent auction. Wear a costume inspired by the Enchanted Forest theme or dress as your favorite book character.  Costumes are encouraged, but optional.

Tickets are on sale now at milfordlibrary.org, or at the Library Circulation Desk.  $35.00 for members of the Friends, $40.00 for non-members.  After October 1, all tickets will be $50.00.
Saturday, October 21, 7:00pm - 10:00pm

See you in the Stacks!
