The Department of Human Services Community Outreach Workers provide case management for Milford residents in need. They evaluate and assess clients' immediate concerns and help them obtain access to local, state, and federal programs, as well as connecting individuals with information. The staff works with local agencies and service providers to facilitate case coordination and referrals. The objective of these services is to serve and support families and individuals in times of need and to facilitate a path toward self sufficiency. Programs include: Energy Assistance, Rent Rebate, Food Referrals, Senior Farmers Market Vouchers, Holiday Programs, Inter-Agency Referrals. All programs are dependent on the funding and donations available.
