June Employee of the Month

for being selected as Employee of the Month for June 2018.

 

As the recipient of the award for the Mayor’s Employee of the Month Program, please join us in extending a warm congratulation to Ronda in receiving this recognition.  After a review of all of the nominations, the Selection Committee unanimously chose her as the winner for being exceptionally knowledgeable in her job, professional in her behavior, and engaging and caring in her interactions with the public.    

 

Ronda began her employment with the City of Milford on January 25, 2016.  Ronda’s prior library experience has assisted her in quickly mastering library procedures.  She has taken responsibility for the library museum pass program, contacting the museum      partners to obtain updated materials, and managing the billing and renewals.  She investigated and manages a new partnership with the Long Wharf Theater.  With her artistic talents, Ronda has energized the library with attention-grabbing displays, attractive signs, and an all-around improved visual appearance.  She has an astounding ability to come up with just the right touch – from large scale window displays to castles that light up. Ronda developed and created most of the artwork and décor for Party in the Stacks, the Friends of the Library annual fundraiser.  Her creative aptitude has led her heading up the decorating committee for the 2018 Party in the Stacks.

 

Ronda is an invaluable member of the library team.  She immediately made it a point to get to know her co-workers and the library patrons.  Her empathetic nature and friendly smile brings comfort to the library patrons.  Ronda’s professionalism and engaging interactions with the public exemplify what a good ambassador for the City of Milford should be.  These are just a few of the many reasons the Mayor extends his sincere congratulations and appreciation to Ronda for the outstanding attributes she exhibits as Employees of the Month.
