When you think you may have lead paint, consider hiring a trained lead safe certified Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) contractor. These contractors have been trained in special methods to minimize dust and clean up thoroughly to reduce the chance of lead contamination.

If you plan to do the work yourself work safely, use the right equipment to protect you and your family from lead exposure, and use lead safe work practices.
