1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN presents EDWARD LEONARD’S SILLY-SING-A-LONG. Saturday, June 16 at 10:30am Enjoy a high energy and interactive good time with popular children’s musician Edward Leonard. Let’s get moving to the rhythm of becoming lifelong readers! If you haven’t joined 1,000BB4K yet, starter packs will be available with a free book and reading log to help your child on their way to 1,000 books! This is an early literacy initiative funded by the Friends of Milford Library.
DJ RED SUPREME DANCE PARTY WORKSHOP with Austin Dailey. Monday June 18 at 1pm. Kick off your summer reading with this high-energy dance party. Learn easy-to-follow moves and show off your skills in this fun interactive program. For ages 5 and up. Space is limited.
MAGICIAN JUSTIN MAZZ Wednesday July 11 at 2:30pm. A magic show for the whole family!
GARDEN OF BEATS Friday July 13 at 2pm. Bring the whole family to participate in a communal drumming experience. Drums and percussion provided for all.
CARTOONING WORKSHOP WITH ARTIST CHRIS BROWN Monday July 16 at 10:30am. For ages 7 and up. If you love to draw and are into graphic novels and comics, artist Christopher Brown will be here to help you improve your skills. Tell your stories through your art! MOVIES ROCK!- THE GREATEST SHOWMAN Wednesday July 25 st 2pm. The muscial story of Connecticut's own PT Barnum and his amazing circus, set to an even more amazing soundtrack. Join us for a free family showing and come sing along. rated PG
MUSICIANS OF THE SUN: A THEATER WORKSHOP Thursday July 26 at 1pm for ages 4-6 and 2pm for ages 7-10. Re-tell the classic Aztec myth and help free the musicians being held captive by the Sun. READING ROCKS WITH PETE THE CAT (and Al DeCant!) Wednesday August 8 at 10:30am. It's everyone's favorite "singing principal"! Come on down for a rockin' good time!
MOVIES ROCK!- SING! Wednesday August 15 at 2pm. The story of a koala who stages an all-animal singing competition to save his beloved theater. Join us for a free family showing and come sing along. rated PG
Preschool Storytimes for ages 3 and up every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30am through June 12.
