Where can I find food?
Milford Senior Center and Milford Public Schools Food Availability
The Milford Senior Center will be available for to-go meals and Milford Food Bank Distribution. To-go meals will be provided for 3 days at a time (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and available for pick up between 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Meals on wheels will continue as scheduled. Milford Food Bank distribution will continue as pre-packaged outside pick-up only, please use the side of the building. Packages will be provided as drive-through or walk-up service. For questions, call: 203-877-5131
The Milford Public Schools Food Services will provide breakfast and lunch meals for students at no charge to all household members, aged 18 and younger, as long as one child in the household is enrolled in any Milford Public School. Pick ups occur on Tuesday (to pick-up meals for Tuesday and Wednesday) and Thursday (to pick-up meals for Thursday, Friday, and Monday).
Jonathan Law High School - Hours: 9:30-10:30am
Location: parent drop off (in between the Auditorium and the Gymnasium)
East Shore Middle School - Hours: 10:00-11:00am

Access to Online and Data support
During COVID19, the state trakfone providers, Safelink and Assurance, are providing unlimited talk and text plus extra data through the end of May (and possibly beyond). Meal Kits and Food Delivery During COVID-19
Tips for Meal Kits and Food Delivery Safety Include but are not limited to;
1. Before Ordering Food
- Ask Questions- to ask about things like food safety standards
- Arrange for delivery when someone is home
- Find a safe space for delivery
2. Safe Food Delivery and Receipt
- Examine the box and packaging
- Make sure company uses insulated packaging
- Refrigerate or freeze as soon as possible
- Notify the Company if the food arrives above 40 degrees Farenheit
- Call toll free federal food safety hotlines
3. Safe Food Handling
- Wash your hands and kitchen utensils
- Rinse fresh fruits and vegetables under running water
- Separate foods to avoid cross contamination
- Refrigerate leftovers within two hours

COVID 19 Economic Stimulus Package Information
Economic Stimulus Package Information-The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service announced that distribution of economic impact payments will be distributed automatically, with no action required for most people. However, some seniors and others who typically do not file returns will need to submit a simple tax return to receive the stimulus payment.
