Registration Information

If You Are Not A Voter In Milford:

Any U. S. citizen 18 years old or older, who is a bona fide resident of Milford, is eligible to register to vote in this city. If you are at least 17 years old, and will turn 18 before the next general election (Nov. 7, 2017) you may 'pre-register'.

To register to vote, simply go to the office of the Registrars of Voters or City Clerk’s Office during office hours. Applications are also available on the Secretary of State's website:

You may request the Registrars of Voters or City Clerk to send you a mail-in voter registration form to complete, sign and mail back to the Registrars of Voters Office.

Special Voter Registration Sessions:

The Registrars of Voters will hold special voter registration sessions on the following dates and times. 

The Sessions will be held in the Registrars of Voters office at the Parsons Government Center, 70 West River Street.

Tuesday, October 31, 2017    9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Limited Registration Session

Monday, November 6th, 2017  9a.m.- 5a.m.

Although the deadline for registration to vote in the November 7, 2017 election is October 31, 2017, persons who attain their eligibility to register after that date may do so. Therefore, if a person becomes 18 years of age, a citizen or a resident of the city after October 31, 2017, such person may register on or before 5:00 p.m. on November 6, 2017, at the Registrars of Voters office. Election Day Registration:

The Registrars of Voters will hold EDR (Election Day Registration) at Parsons Government Center, 70 West River Street on Election Day, November 7, 2017.  Anyone not already registered to vote in Milford, may register and vote November 7th from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Please note: your registration must be processed and your ballot issued prior to 8:00 p.m.
