Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals
Author and film historian Max Alvarez takes you on a whirlwind journey (featuring unforgettable film highlights) through the amazing screen work of Busby Berkeley, Gene Kelly, the Nicholas Brothers, Fred Astaire, Eleanor Powell and other filmdom song-and-dance legends of the '30s, '40s, and '50s.  Wednesday, November 15 at 7:00pm.
Diabetes Workshop - What you Need to Know
Maureen Devlin, registered dietitian/nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator, will discuss what the disease is, causes, blood sugar numbers, complications, nutrition and exercise. Tuesday, November 28 at 7:00pm 
Recharge for the holidays with Qigong
Take some time for yourself during this fun, but hectic, season to recharge, renew and lower your stress. Connie Goebel, founder of Be HeartWired, will lead us through a demonstration of Qigong, a 5,000 year old Chinese mind-body practice that uses breath and gentle movement to heal and cultivate "life energy". Technology - Veracrypt
Learn how to encrypt a container with VeraCrypt. Choose from an array of major ciphers such as AES, Serpent, and Twofish, or use cascade encryption. VeraCrypt can also be used to create encrypted hidden volumes! Thursday, November 30 at 6:30pm
Brain Station Activity: Holiday Craft

A Child's Christmas in Wales
Colin Lane and Rebecca Zaretsky will perform Dylan Thomas' masterpiece, A Child's Christmas in Wales. This heartwarming tale takes us back to Wales at the beginning of the 20th century and views the holiday scenes through a child's eyes. Funny, warm and nostalgic - perfect for ushering in the holiday season. Sunday, December 3 at 2:00pm. Note: the Library is open ONLY for this special event.

The Nutcracker - Lincoln Center at the Movies

The Library hosts both a Needlepoint Guild and a Knitting/Quilting Group. Bring your work in progress and chat with fellow crafters.
