Fees to record Land Record Documents are $60.00 for the first page plus $5.00 for each subsequent page of the same document.  (Limit 8-1/2” x 14”)

Land Record Documents with "NOMINEES" (MERS):  Mortgage 1st page $159; each additional page $5.  Assignment of Mortgage, Subordination Agreement and/or Release of Mortgage $159.

Warranty and Quit Claim Deeds requiring CT Commissioner of Revenue Tax forms are $2.00 additional (except deeds for under $2,000 or no consideration)

Assignment of Mortgage listing; subsequent to first two (each) $2.00 each

Penalty fee for no address $5.00

Penalty fee for no typed name/signature line $1.00

State Tax Conveyance-- .0075 x sales price for Residential property & unimproved land
.0075 x  1st $800,000
.0125 x amount exceeding $800,000 for Residential dwelling
.0125 x sales price for Non-residential (except unimproved land)

Local Conveyance Tax  .0025 x sales price

Copies of Land Record Documents $1.00 per page. There is a copier that takes $1.00 and $5.00 bills (the City Clerk office cannot make change). You may set up an account if you are printing multiple documents from the computer to a copier.
