According to the Civil Service Rules and Regulations, job openings in the Civil Service must be advertised in a local newspaper. Consequently, individuals interested in employment with the City of Milford are encouraged to follow the local newspapers and make application when positions for which they feel they are qualified are advertised. On occasion, non-Civil Service positions, or positions requiring certain credentials or degrees may be posted to this website.
Please note that the Police and Fire Departments as well as the Board of Education have their own policies and conduct their own hiring.
