Milford Department of Human Services outreach services provide assistance to households with social, financial, emotional, and medical needs. The objectives of these services are to serve and support families and individuals in times of need, and to facilitate a path toward some form of self-sufficiency independent of a welfare system.
Human Services outreach staff provides client coordination among appropriate service agencies and assistance programs. The case management system allows for short term planning assisting the unmet needs of the Human Services clients. Case management services encompass but are not limited to: Crisis Counseling, Advocacy, Outreach, Inter-Agency Coordination, Home Visits and Follow-up.
