About the Town Seal

Propane Tanks can be extremely hazardous and volatile.  Unfortunately, getting rid of them has become a problem.  Due to their nature, very few places will accept them for disposal.

Most towns do not have methods of their own for dealing with them.  However, listed here are private companies in Connecticut who dispose of empty or full propane tanks for a small fee.  HazWaste Central does not endorse any particular company.    http://www.rwater.com/hazwaste/index.shtml
